ZA-FMV, is since 1999, the French subsidiary of the German firm Ziehl-Abegg, world leader in the market of the fans.
ZA-FMV is a SME benefiting of the support of a powerful international firm. ZA-FMV is a concentrate of skills in:
 The total control of the manufacture of asynchronous electric motors: from its design and industrialization to its marketing;
for ventilation and other industrial applications.
The total control of aerodynamics: there also from the design, industrialization to its marketing.
This double competence makes possible to ZA-FMV to study, produce and sell: on one hand motors, and on the other hand propellers. It especially makes possible to offer to our customers an optimization of the fan unit, by adapting as well as possible our products to their specific requirements.
Few manufacturers can be proud of these three competences: motors, propellers and fans.
Thus, ZA-FMV can provide to more than 1.200 customers in the world some 2.000 different models, which represents 250.000 ventilators per annum.
All these products benefits of the methods and quality tools of ZA-FMV:
The R&D department and the test laboratory, in which there are carried out aerodynamics measurements of electric motors,
acoustics and vibrations. In this laboratory we test not only the performances of our products intrinsically but also those of our products
integrated in the devices of our customers.
The Endurance department in which they carry out more than 500.000 annual tests: climatic tests, tests of ageing, tests of resistance
to the salt spray, tests against rotation and deceives tests.
